The Boldr Voyage is a classic style watch with an infusion of modern technology. With a traditional analog aviator-style dial on the outside - built with smart technology on the inside - the Boldr Voyage is the perfect blend of “form and function.”
Designed to be a “clever watch,” behind the chic analog dial, the Voyage is encrypted with beneficial technology. The watch has a built-in pedometer to track fitness goals, and syncs to the smartphone app via Bluetooth 4.0. Notifications are pushed from one’s phone to alert the user through the LED’s or vibrations. Note that the watch cannot be used as a device to respond to messages, check emails and make phone calls; it simply notifies the user that they are receiving incoming communication on their phone. Another notable feature is the remote camera shutter, which lets the consumer take photos with their phone’s camera by pressing one of the side buttons on the watch. The smart features are powered by BOLDR Smartmodule, while the actual timekeeping is powered by Miyota 2025 movement.
Tailored to suit a variety of tastes, the Voyage line is available in 6 striking colors and is packaged with a 22mm premium leather strap with quick release tabs on the underside. The internal components have been devised to assimilate into a 43mm case with solder-on lugs. As for the battery life, the watch has two separate batteries: a replaceable (CR2032) battery that powers BOLDR Smartmodule and lasts up to 6 months, and another battery for the Quartz watch that lasts up to 3 years.
Boldr estimates to retail their watch at $129 through their Kickstarter campaign.
