With the new Socialite line of smart bracelets from WiseWear, aspiring ladies of the manor can now cultivate a high-end look and keep up with their busy schedules and fitness routines at the same time. The water-resistant brass bracelets, plated in either 18-karat gold or silver-white rhodium, come in three styles—the Calder, the Duchess or the Kingston.
Each bracelet vibrates when the wearer receives a call, text, email or an appointment reminder on her Android or iOS smartphone, and also tracks exercise, such as the number of steps walked, amount of calories burned and distance traveled. In the case of an emergency, users can touch the bracelet once to alert a pre-programmed list of contacts to her location, and trigger a sound or video recording.
The $299 jewelry is currently available for pre-order, and is expected to ship in the fall. For more information, see the full article here.
