Software and hardware design company Omate released their smart watch collection for Summer 2015. The two new models the company will be launching are the Racer and the Roma models.
Both can sync with iOS and Android devices, and push notifications from a mobile device to the smartwatch face. Both models also are powered by a dual-core ARM-based MediaTek processor, purportedly the smallest wearable chip on the market.
The Racer is Omate’s more “sport” line, while the Roma is aimed as high-fashion, style-conscious consumers. For the conscious consumer, the Omate Racer is notably the only smart watch produced in Africa.
The Omate Racer is available for $129, while the Roma is currently available for preorder at $169.
