In what could be the first step towards making wearable technology more fashion-forward, Tommy Hilfiger has released a unique jacket for men and women that comes with a charging system for the wearer’s phone or laptop.
The jackets are wool with a nylon inner lining, and include a removable panel of flexible solar panels that go across the back. In one pocket is a cord that connects to a cell phone or tablet in order to charge it. The solar panels are removable and come with a bag to stash them in.
